The purpose of Congo Sunday is to raise global consciousness about the current conflict and humanitarian crisis in the Congo; to advocate for peace, justice and human dignity in partnership with the Congolese people.

#CongoWeek2014 is the seventh anniversary of Congo Week.

Every year in the third week of October, people throughout the globe gather to commemorate the millions of lives lost in the conflict in the Congo while celebrating the country’s enormous human and natural potential.
